Swing set

Callin is 6 weeks old this week and is really starting to chunk up. It's such a difference from when he was first born. Unfortunately all the eating he's been doing means that we're still not sleeping well during the night. But that will come in time. Until then, just hope you don't have to ride in a car while I'm driving (just kidding).

Zoe, Cal, and I have settled into a nice routine during the week. I've been pleasantly surprised by how manageable it is (most of the time) to have both kids at once. Cal is a good sleeper during the day and falls asleep whenever he's in the car. Zoe has been taking her big sister responsibilities seriously and loves to help out (although we've had a couple incidents of rough "play" with the baby).

After a lot of planning, Rich took action last weekend and built Zoe a swing set. Jess and Joe came up mid-day, and Joe was a huge help with his tools and handyman skills. They even brought dinner with them again. What would we do without them? Here's a picture of Joe and Rich concentrating hard with drills in hand.

I did some work in the garden on Saturday--the weather was gorgeous, and it felt so great to be outside. Zoe did some gardening of her own. Here she is digging in my vegetable garden.
